Who we are
Vibe is a Youth One Stop Shop (YOSS), providing a range of primary health and social support services for young people aged 10-24 years in Te Awakairangi (the Hutt Valley).
We aim for our services to be accessible to young people. This means that our services are youth friendly, in accessible locations, free and confidential.
OUR SERVICES
Primary Health Services
Our health care services provide complementary care with young people being able to be registered with a medical practice and also access our services. Our services include supporting both physical and mental health.
Social Work and Youth Work
Our social and youth workers provide support for an array of services: community, young parents, transition support services, Youth Payments, and for those requiring support with education, training, and employment.
School Based Services and Programmes
We run health clinics and various programmes within colleges and educational settings in the Hutt valley area. If you’re a school interested in learning more about how our services could benefit your school, please get in touch.
Health Promotion and Education
We work towards encouraging young people to have access to information that enables them to make good choices about their health and wellbeing. We look for opportunities where we can influence whanau, and community health.
